Nailsea and UWE Phantoms Battle It Out For Number 1 Spot

The latest league standings are in and show Nailsea holding on tightly to the number 1 spot in Division 3:

However, UWE Phantoms are hot on the heels of the Nailsea team, with a game in hand which would take them level in terms of wins and losses. However, with the previous win over UWE at home (Nailsea 64 - 62 UWE) secures Nailsea the top spot…for now. The return match is scheduled for 26/1/07 away and could be one of the most important games of the Division this season. Nailsea are a little behind in the way of points for vs points against, and so will need to pick up their game over the final stages of the season in order to hang on to their title.
